• This past weekend was Robbie's formal for Phi Tau....here's an awesome picture...

• Wed. we def. drove to KC to see Shelbi and to go to the Relient K concert with

her! It was sooo fun, i have to upload those pictures...I'll put them on here soon...

• Been hanging out with Lindsey and Lisa alot up here at school- which is nice. I love

those girls....

• School has been so great. Classes are hard, but I've been working pretty hard as

well. Robbie makes things easier- he tries to motivate me and he keeps me straight. I'm so

 thankful for him everyday. I really have been blessed by the people I know and am

surrounded by and the new people I get to meet.... I love it...

Time for a semi-deep entry...

Classes have begun once again. My second semester in collge- wow, that sounds crazy. It is just how I expected it to be. Hard, stressful, fun, fast, lazy. Knowing that you have to do well is a scarry thought. What if you can't? What if its too hard for you? I am nervous- but all I can do is try. Disappointing my dad is always my main worry- but hopefully he won't see it as a disappointment if he knows that I really have tried. I need God more than I have ever needed Him right now, at least it feels that way. Most areas of my life are going so right right now...and I feel so close to God and want to need Him more and more each day. Over break I went through this phase where I was going to my old church probably 3 times a week. I was doing all of the old things with all of the same people I have always done them with. I was worshipping and praying and devoting so much time to the Lord. But when I would be sitting at home, trying to pray, I felt like my words were hitting the ceiling and coming right back in my mouth. It wasn't working and I felt alone. Hanging out with best friends helped. Knowing that Shelbi was trying so hard and doing so well at representing and being a Godly student in her high school made me feel better. Like I was proud of her. But I still couldn't get back what I have said was mine for as long as I can remember- my intense need to be God's child. I didnt feel it anymore. Near the end of break I went to our farm with my family. We had my grandpa over one of the nights for dinner and a visit. That wknd I tried to talk to my dad about what I had been feeling. He reminded me that my whole family is always praying for me, and to know that they all want me to succeed in every area- with my walk with Jesus, school, with boys, tennis, work; everything...Well I think he said something to my gradfather about that, because after dinner, he pulled me aside to talk. He asked me about school and what classes I was taking. Then he asked to pray with me before the rest of the fam came around. So we prayed. We prayed about my grandmother, which made me cry, we prayed for all of my family, we gave thanks for everything we could think of, and that was it. It made me remember how many things are on my side in this life. How I have all of the great people surrounding me and so many opportunities to do right.

I can not let myself go a day without the Lord. Once I forget to say that prayer or think those thoughts for a day, I begin to slip more and more. He is there always- so I should be too. This past weekned my best friend here at Truman transfered  to a school in IA. I thought I was going to cry when I found out, but I think it is for the best. She will be happier and will do great. I miss seeing her around everyday and having her remind me of my friends at home, just goofy and fun. But I am not alone. I need to trust, and pray, and focus.

SIGH....I feel like a weirdo writing all of this, but  it was past due. Sry.

So, the lovely grades came in....not as great as I'd like, but not as bad as I had expected...so- it really depends on how you look at it to determine if I actually came out on the situation. My dad has made it clear that I have not...which means much more studying is in store for me these next few months. Oh well...I'm up for it.

Got to see everyone over break. The family is good, and probably really sick of me by now, at least they don't show it. Shelbi is her same awesome self. She gets cuter everytime I see her...awww- I miss ya sis! Heh.  Crystal still acts like my 3rd mom (wow), but its funny, and I love it. Our deep conversations and ice cold water shots with lemon and salt chasers will never get old...  Didn't get to see Rob much at all..boo for 4 hrs of seperation and strict parents. But it's okay..we lived...
